Privacy

Last updated 6 November 2026

The short version: you don’t need an account, and we never ask for your name or email. There are no ads, and we don’t sell your data. We only collect play statistics if you agree, and we use them to make the puzzles better.

Who we are

Dozydoku is made by MM Studio. To contact us about privacy, email mmstudio.appstudio@gmail.com.

What stays on your device

Your progress, streak, calendar, settings and hints are saved in your browser or the app. We can’t see them. If you clear the site’s data or delete the app, they’re gone.

What we collect

Play statistics, only if you agree. If you say yes, the game sends us:

We use these to see which puzzles are too easy or too hard, and whether the game works. You can change your mind at any time with “Share play stats” in the Menu.

How you compare. After you solve a daily, the game asks our server how many other players solved it and how your time compares. It sends the puzzle and your time, plus your player ID if you share play statistics. The answer is worked out and the request isn’t saved.

Feedback, only if you send it. “Send feedback” sends us your rating, what you write, your player ID and details of the puzzle, your device type and the game version. Please don’t put personal details in your message.

Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, sees your IP address when your device connects, because that’s how the internet works. We use it only to keep the service running and stop abuse, and we don’t store it with your play statistics. Cloudflare may keep it in short-lived logs.

What we don’t do

Why we’re allowed to use it

Who handles data for us

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the game and stores play statistics and feedback. It may process data outside the EU, under the safeguards the law requires, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We delete play statistics and feedback automatically after about 13 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to or restrict how we use it, or ask to take it with you. Email us with the player ID shown in the Menu under “Your data”, as we don’t hold your name and can’t find your data any other way.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Malta that’s the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).

Children

Dozydoku isn’t made for children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we’ll tell you in the game. When Supporter goes on sale, this page will say how payments are handled.
